Per LAUSD Policy Bulletin No. 2576 and California Education Code Section 48901.5 the following policy is in effect at VNHS :

CELL PHONES, IPODS, OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICE MUST BE TURNED OFF AND STORED IN A LOCKER, PURSE, BACKPACK OR POCKET DURING CLASS TIME. IF SUCH A DEVICE IS OBSERVED BY YOUR TEACHER, IT SHALL BE CONFISCATED BY THE DEAN’S OFFICE AND HELD UNTIL REDEEMED BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN.
